Cards for Good Causes

In 2016, St Mary's Church was the venue for the  Cards for Good Causes Charity shop, due to restoration work in All Saints' Church.

Cards for Good Causes sells cards on behalf of more than 300 national and local charities and manages a national network of 311 charity Christmas card shops throughout the country, from Truro to Pitlochry.

In the last five years, charities have received over £20 million from their card sales through Cards for Good Causes outlets. From this total, the charities have to pay for the production and distribution of their cards and any VAT. It’s not just Christmas cards! In most shops Cards for Good Causes also sells a range of Christmas goods, including Advent calendars, Christmas wrapping paper and gift tags.

Despite the change of venue for 2015 the cards sales were extremely good and almost matched that of sales in All Saints' Church, even though there was less stock from the beginning.

The 21017 Card shop will be in All Saints Church on the Market Square opening on Monday 30th October
